This is a temporary visa that allows you to remain in Australia as a guardian of an international student on a student visa. The length of your visa will be determined by the student visa holder’s stay and their age.

Visa Eligibility Criteria

In general, to obtain a valid Student visa, you must demonstrate the following:

Be a parent, a custodian or a relative,

Be able to provide for the student

Include familyYou must be able to provide accommodation, general welfare and support to the student.

Have enough money for your stay,

Be a genuine and temporary entrant,

Have adequate health insurance,

Meet character and health requirement,

Sign the Australian values statement,

Have paid back your debt to the Australian Government,

Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused.
